Home/The owner
One person.
Start to finish.
Method Garage Doors is Will. That is not a positioning line, it is just how the business is set up, and it changes what you get on the other end of the phone.
The guy who answers is the guy doing the work.
Call Method and Will picks up. He is the one who comes out, the one who works out what is wrong, and the one holding the wrench. There is no dispatcher, no sales rep and no crew you have never met turning up instead.
It also means nothing gets padded. Will is quoting his own labour, so there is no commission behind the number and nothing to upsell you into. If the fix is a small one, he will tell you it is a small one.
ask for Will. it's just Will.
How a job actually goes
Five steps, no surprises.
You call and Will answers
Not a receptionist and not a queue. Describe what the door is doing in whatever words you have for it. He has heard every version of it.
He comes and looks at it
In person, free, with no obligation attached to it. A garage door is not something you can diagnose properly off a photo, and quoting off one is how people end up paying for parts they did not need.
You get told what it is
What is actually wrong, what it will cost, and whether it is worth doing. If the honest answer is that the door has a couple of years left in it, that is the answer you get.
He does the work
The same person who quoted it. Common wear parts get handled on the spot; anything that has to be ordered gets agreed before it is ordered.
It gets tested before he leaves
Balance, travel limits, force settings, photo eyes and the safety reverse. A door that runs is not the same as a door that is set up right.
What you will not get
The short list of things Method does not do.
- No dispatcher and no call centre
- No commission, because he is quoting his own labour
- No replacement quoted for something that is a repair
- No trip charge for coming out to look
- No crew you have never met turning up instead
- No gutters, roofs or anything else bolted onto the invoice
Straight about what is not here
Nothing on this site is made up.
Plenty of contractor websites carry a service area, a founding year and a review count that nobody can trace. The things below have not been confirmed yet, so rather than invent them, they are marked and left out. They go in the moment Will sets them.
In the meantime the honest answer to all of them is the same: call and ask. It takes about thirty seconds and you get a real answer either way.
